I just went to do this, but I'm nervous about giving my login and pw out, is this legitimate?

As far as I know it is and they asked for the same information when they launched the diabetic TB's last year.

Just looking on the site it seems only 1500 are being sent out the remainder are being given out at monument sites on the 14th november. London Eye, Shell Tower, London, UK or The Scandinavium, Gothenburg, Sweden

It's a Geocaching.com sub-domain and is 100% legit......good to be cautious though

i only know what i see on the site! unfortunately i will be away on 14th and i do not see barcelona on the list alas.

maybe someone from the british diabetic association could narrow down the time?

As far as I know they are only given out to geocachers who apply for one which is why they ask for your gc name and password.

 

Think back to last year when they released the TB's and we in the UK did receive a good share of them, which many are still in circulataion.

Yes, I did send for a Diabetic TB last year which was received no problem along with plenty other UK cachers.

 

But if no one appiles then the UK geocachers will complain why there are none in the UK.

So what we need is someone to set up another London FlashMob Event, at the same location (at the London Eye) just 4 days after the LONDON FLASHMOB EVENT on the 10th November?

Anyone who asks for a coin to be sent to them is requested to place it in a cache for all to enjoy. These are not intended to stay in personal collections (that's what they requested anyway).

i figure 3500 divided by all the monuments they decide to use in the world is not many per country in the full scheme of things.At the time of typing 11 locations with more to be added. also the timings will be announced later.

Those 5000 coins went within a few hours to Geocachers. If you still want one then its all hands on deck at those sites around Europe

 

I missed out on the first and wont be able to get to the second so I will have to wait to see them when one finally appears in a cache near me

Could I be so bold to ask if anybody has received any spare coins. I have a group of Good friends that are sufferers and would like to place some coins in some new caches here in Spain / Portugal and Morocco to add to the overall awareness.

 

Also of course any travel bugs that wish to visit europe - please let me know.
