+ChileHead
I don't have an iPhone yet, but I'm considering getting one. I use cachemate on my Treo650 right now and I'd like to have the equivalent functionality on an iPhone if possible. Is there anything that GSAK can export for the iPhone? Often when I'm out in the woods searching, I'm out of cell range and can't get to the site. Quote Link to comment
+GPSlug
If nothing else, GSAK can export HTML files that I assume the iPhone should be able to store and read. Quote Link to comment

Often when I'm out in the woods searching, I'm out of cell range and can't get to the site. I have an iPhone and I had the same issue. There is a website (http://m.cmiyc.com) that will let you upload pocket queries, but you still need an internet connection to use it. I haven't tested it out in the field, so I don't know if it works well with EDGE. I ended up doing something slightly more complex, but quite satifying: With the Install App on your iPhone install the Apache webserver Using GSAK (for example) make an export of your Geocache library into HTML Use WinSCP (or other sftp software) to copy the GSAK generated files to \Library\Webserver\Documents on your iPhone Now go to Safari on your iPhone and use http://127.0.0.1/index.htm as a url and voilà, there is your library of geocaches. Note that there is a default index.html file from the apache server that will be called if you do not add the /index.htm to your URL. If you need more info on WinSCP, go to http://winscp.net. I hope this helps! Quote Link to comment
