JohnMeek
Ginkgo Balboa, Blackberries, Blueberries, wild strawberries, Bamboo and unique trees for education or need. Imagine that you were hiking the cascades and you could have a list of wild foods that might be possible to find by a GPS point. My wife and I sometimes go to Collinsville, CA to pick wild blackberries on the river. Several places along the Sacramento River we cam cut wild Bamboo for tomato poles. Several places I can pick Gingko Balboa fresh in the city parks and eat it. I’m hoping to find Evodia daniellii fruit for medicinal purposes. I have seen pictures on Goggle, but I need to see one of these trees to help teach myself what they are. U.C. Davis has an arboretum, repositioning for unusual or exotic plants or wild food sources could be useful. Quote Link to comment

LOL Oh and as for the OP, can't really help with that, but you might want to try the "off-topic" section as this isn't exactly a geocaching topic. Quote Link to comment
Chumpo
I found some excellent hops growing along the Spokane River here at home, but our Balboa plants are growing in very Rocky places. I pass them right by. Quote Link to comment

I'm sure he would take to "Off-topic" but he's not a premium member. Quote Link to comment
