+Confucius' Cat
Maybe this isn't the answer you were going for, but I started Caching for the opportunity to spend time with my kids. I have a son who's 12 and a daughter who's 10. I realize that I can't make up for the years that I've lost by not being a very hands-on Dad. But I saw GeoCaching as a way to improve my relationships with them in the time that I have left before they grow up and move out. TKOFaith Excellent and profound! I have spent many fine hours with Murasaki and we have grown very close due to outdoor activities- caching primary among them. This is truly one of the prime "spin-offs" of the game.
