+Dougals of PG Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I was using Garmin's Beta version of its MapSource software until it expired on Oct. 1. I am also a Premium Member at Geocaching.com. I discovered that I could upload a geocache wpt directly to MapSource (MS opened when you clicked on the gpx upload option). Very handy. The Beta version expired, I uploaded the latest version of MapSource, and now I can't do the MapSource/GPX thing, get an error message that "****.gpx is not a valid Win32 application". Anybody know why this no longer works? Quote
+Nachtraaf Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 (edited) Try this: save the *.gpx file on your hard drive go the folder in windows explorer right click the file choose menu "open with" choose "choose program..." click "browse" in the new window go to your installation folder of Mapsource (for me it is C:\Garmin\) click on "MapSource.exe" tick the box named "always use the selected program to open this kind of file" (positioned just above the browse button) hit the "ok" button This way you link gpx files to mapsource. Should work... Regards, Hans Edited October 10, 2007 by weedboer Quote
