+sawblade5
I am posting this to see if anyone else been getting this problem. When ever I move one of my bugs around I should get an email about it. However last night when I activated a few of them then placed them into my home box (The closest archived cache to my house) here at: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...f0-4a99fbbf270c I only got 1 email when I drop this coin here http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=1301490 but the other 6 I dropped including my personal Mileage Coin ( http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...79-c4c04c3eb05f ) didn't get a email notification. The coins that I dropped were activated Last Night (Oct 4th) but I decided to do a bug drop into that box dated Oct 3rd which was my last caching day. I am wondering if this could be what is causing it or not? Please note I tried other emails also, I also posted a note to one of my caches and didn't get a Log Owner message there ethier so it makes me wonder if there's a problem on the server side. I even done some notes on my mileage coin at http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...79-c4c04c3eb05f and still got no emails. The Contact me and Pocket Query's still work though. Is anyone else getting this problem? Link to comment
+UncleJimbo
There were email notification problems this past week. I did not get a notification of someone picking up one of my TBs, and I never got an "activation" email for a new cache near my home (I should have). I don't know if the issues are completely fixed yet. Link to comment
+DrAwKwArD
I'm having the same problem. I noticed it on the 29th when a cache on my watchlist was found but I wasn't notified. It seems spotty because I posted a note on a cache and received it via email but one of my caches was found yesterday and no email. Link to comment
OpinioNate
You may have won the email provider lottery, geocaching style. Each week a new email provider likes to block geocaching.com for sending email in bulk. Essentially they blacklist us for sending spam (aka cache notifications). If you send a support email to contact@geocaching.com they may be able to tell if this is what's happening. Link to comment
