What is Cause/Solution to: Gigantic Oversized Characters & Page Size

Something changed recently on my CPU. When I am logged on to the Geocaching website, certain pages are displayed with greatly oversized characters. This requires having to scroll either, way down or far right to be able to read the entire page displayed. This is different than than it was. I am optioned to the "smallest" View Size character display on Internet Explorer and am currently using a resolution display set at 1152X864. Playing with the resolution settings didn't seem to help much. Have an XP Op Sys. CPU.

Hide & Seek Page

Trackable Items Page

Track A Travel Bug Page

Any ideas as to how to correct this issue?

Try holding down the CTL Key and rolling the scroll wheel of your mouse.

Holding CTL down while while rolling the scroll wheel only will make the characters even larger but will not shrink them.

Do other applications show the same gigantic character size? If not, try a different web browser such as Firefox or Opera to see if it's just Internet Explorer with the problem.

I tried a few options and considered others, then finally decided to upgrade to MS Internet Explorer V. 7. It seems to have solved this issue and some other negatives, I had been experiencing. To date, have yet to experience any difficulties with V. 7.
