+orovalleysam
Something changed recently on my CPU. When I am logged on to the Geocaching website, certain pages are displayed with greatly oversized characters. This requires having to scroll either, way down or far right to be able to read the entire page displayed. This is different than than it was. I am optioned to the "smallest" View Size character display on Internet Explorer and am currently using a resolution display set at 1152X864. Playing with the resolution settings didn't seem to help much. Have an XP Op Sys. CPU. The displayed pages on which this occurs are: My Account Page Hide & Seek Page Trackable Items Page Track A Travel Bug Page Any ideas as to how to correct this issue? +Crew 153
Try holding down the CTL Key and rolling the scroll wheel of your mouse. Link to comment
+orovalleysam
Holding CTL down while while rolling the scroll wheel only will make the characters even larger but will not shrink them. Regards, Orovalleysam Edited October 5, 2007 by orovalleysam Link to comment
+alexrudd
Do other applications show the same gigantic character size? If not, try a different web browser such as Firefox or Opera to see if it's just Internet Explorer with the problem. Link to comment
+orovalleysam
I tried a few options and considered others, then finally decided to upgrade to MS Internet Explorer V. 7. It seems to have solved this issue and some other negatives, I had been experiencing. To date, have yet to experience any difficulties with V. 7. Regards, orovalleysam Link to comment
