+Ecnarf 371
I have a Magellan eXplorist 600, and love it. But the battery died on me, and I had a bad Ebay experience with it, and the official store is out of stock and seems to have no plans to ever restock it. If anyone has a battery for it (a 400, 500 or 600 battery- the lithium ion one) please let me know and name your price. Quote Link to comment
+marknamy
I believe you can get a morotola t320 or t370 ?? battery that is a perfect replacement for it. do a search for motorola battery and you should see it. apparently they are extremely cheap in comparison to the real battery marknamy Quote Link to comment
+bassmig
http://www.mtgc.org/robertlipe/exploristwi...tteriesAndPower has alist of the batteries that will work. Basically it's the Motorola batteries compatible with the T720/730 Series. I just happened to have a 720 kicking around doing nothing. Check the existing FAQs on top of this section, has a ton of useful info! Edited October 4, 2007 by bassmig Quote Link to comment
ketchup mustard and relish
I ordered 2 of the motorola SNN5595B this is the larger of the 2 motorolas avail to fit this GPS. anyways I only need the one, the one battery has been in my GPS and left on overnight, so it provides me with more than enough power and the whole thing charges while it's plugged into my computer, no more changing batteries! I'm looking for $20 shipping in. I can email you a pic of that battery to prove that it's brand new. it's still in the package that was sent to me I accept paypal Quote Link to comment
+redsuspenders
We had no trouble finding rechargables on ebay for both our 400 & 500 Explorists. You can also get the battery holder that holds 3AAA batteries to fit the explorist. Quote Link to comment
