Are you carrying SWAG?

..so..what I wanna know is..are you carrying SWAG? Do you arrive at Church or out to eat and reach into your pocket for change and pull out a geocache item? Is it just part of the normal items that you put in when you change pants? ..or even change purses? Isn't it just normal to have a plastic bug, geocoin or personal trading item along...just in case..

Well I don't do many trades, but whenever I have a travel bug in my inventory, it always rides in the glove box of my car. I never know when I might get the urge to do a cache or two after work, or even on my lunch break. Pays to be ready, right?

Lots of TNLNSL logs for me, and not a lot of trading.....

I usually take my caching backpack everywhere I go....

Nah... I'm a TNLN kind of guy. In the beginning, I used to carry around a couple items in case I found anything I actually wanted to trade for, but after a while I realized that trading or moving TBs just wasn't my thing. I'm in it for the destination and the logbook.

Most of the time but it really depends on whether or not I'm out for a planned run.

 

I usually carry my swag bag with me in the car and will frequent the toy aisles at the store for some items the kids may like.

 

Sometimes however, the hike will be of a type where any unnecessary weight is discarded at home. TB's and coins excluded of course!

I was shocked to find that I was carrying SWAG. Luckily, my doctor had some shots that got rid of it.

If we have any travel bugs/coins small enough to go into my purse I usually carry those in case we decide to do any last minute geocaching. Also, I have some business card signature cards I made up in Print Shop that I carry to put into caches.

When caching I have a cache bag. It has lots of stuff including swag. I did find one of my sig buttons in the watch pocket of some pants I took off the hanger the other day though. Must have gone through the wash.

I carry a small bag of goodies in my truck, but as a guitar player I always have a few pics in my pocket and usually drop one in the caches I find.

I always, always, always have half a handful of swag in my pocket because I never know who's going to drop in on me which happens often, or who I might introduce to geocaching, or when I might head out for an impromptu cache or a "No Smiley, Just Smiles" geogathering:

 

 

There's a bigger bag of swag in my Xterra and my sister (MtnFrog) made a custom swag bag for me to fit in the storage blister on the back door. My Magellan Color goes everywhere I go as well. Even though I hardly ever get time to cache, I'm always prepared.
