silverfox03
As a complete beginner, is there a simple solution to my problem entering waypoints? I can create any waypoint, but if I want to 'overtype' that position, ie. change N42.39'54.9 TO say N42.39'656 , I cannot enter a value higher than 5 to the leading decimal. ( changing the 5 to a 6 in the example above) Tried to make this as clear as I can. Ive only had the unit a few days , I must be doing something wrong, or have a wrong setting someware perhaps? Help!!! o k Guys, Ive sorted it, I had the units setup to;- hddd mm ss.s not hddd.mm.mmm Mmmmmm..... Edited September 11, 2007 by silverfox03 Quote Link to comment
yeeoldcacher
From your description, it sounds like the Vista's position format is set to degrees minutes and decimal seconds(hddd mm ss.s), while you are trying to enter coordinates in a format of degrees and decimal minutes(hddd mm.mmm). You will need to change either the format that you are entering the coordinates in or change the Vista's position format accordingly from the main menu>setup>units. Quote Link to comment
