fraggle69 Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 I want to do You're havin' a laugh Chickenpooooo is defo not up for this and has forbidden me to do the cache on my lonesome. Now, I am due to be up in Birmingham sometime this week, I don't know when exactly and I would like to do the cache on the way back to Wycombe. Is there anybody out there in caching society that would care to babysit me while I do the cache??? I am affraid you will have to be a little bit flexible with time and day as I am still not sure what the plan is with work this week. Cheers Fraggle69 Quote
+2202 Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Be a big boy and do it by yourself. Phone someone just before you go in, and say that you will phone them back an hour later. If they have not heard from you they can then send in the search party. As long as you have a spare working torch its otherwise quite easy. Quote
fraggle69 Posted September 9, 2007 Author Posted September 9, 2007 she's not happy with that soloution Quote
+Malpas Wanderer Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 Let me know when you know day and time. It could be a possible for my 5 th, assuming we would both do the cache. Quote
+Primitive Person Posted September 9, 2007 Posted September 9, 2007 she's not happy with that soloution I can understand, hence my visit to Cold War in Oxfordshire with someone else. This looks like one I'd love to do, but I'm nowhere nearby and won't be for ages. Quote
+Just Roger Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 (edited) I'd be happy to babysit for you. I have done it before (FTF) but would like to see it again. At the moment I am free this week apart from Tuesday (Morning) and Wednesday E-mail me via my profile if you would like to arrange a time. Edited September 10, 2007 by Just Roger Quote
+goldpot Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Hey, this cache looks fun, I'll join you if you are doing it this Saturday! If not, if anyone else who wish to join me to make up the numbers would be welcome, just drop me a line. -GOLDPOT- Quote
+Team Sieni Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 (edited) To avoid disappointment it may also be worth seeing if a local / the setter can verify the status of the gate prior to your planned attempt. When we went there it was locked (seemingly there is also a hole in the gate that you can squeeze through, but we didn't notice it) Edited to add ... but then, we didn't look for a hole ... fraggle69 Posted September 13, 2007 Author Posted September 13, 2007 (edited) Massive thanks to the forums, as I managed to find a babysitter and the cache was found this evening. Without the forums this wouldn't have been possible, well I might have had to wait a long time thanks Edited September 13, 2007 by fraggle69 Quote
+Simply Paul Posted September 13, 2007 Posted September 13, 2007 His log! Sounds like he enjoyed it - Also, a very funny photo uploaded. Well done Frasier, and congrats on the 200 finds! Quote
fraggle69 Posted September 14, 2007 Author Posted September 14, 2007 Maybe we need a permanent 'assistance required' topic on the forums? For now though I am happy for this topic to be binned deleted burned and thrown to the fiery depths we know as GCR6N9. Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii Quote
