the hermit crabs Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 When a TB with an image in its name is in a cache's inventory, the layout of the cache page gets very distorted due to the length of the html <img> tag embedded in the bug's name. A couple of current examples: Purgatory Brook (with the "Droopy Bear" TB Quinsigamond Diamond (with the "Prudence Island" TB) Is there any way to prevent this?
StarBrand Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Yeah - I've seen thata couple of times as well. Seems like images should not be allowed in a text title.
SUp3rFM & Cruella Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 Honestly, I think that's pretty lame. I've posted that question in the forums... no answer about it. Please, remove that "ability".
Bambography Posted September 7, 2007 Posted September 7, 2007 From what i've read in the past these are not allowed and TPTB have been known to remove the html. However I don't know why they don't jsut strip the HTML from the TB name form when the TB is set up in the first place.
alexrudd Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 I think they stopped it from working, but apparently some owners haven't figured out that their oh-so-cute image changed into the source html.
