N49 48.430 W97 08.109 = 4+9+4+8+4+3+0+9+7+0+8+1+0+9 = 66 This the the checksum Digit Root goes farther by continuing to add the digits until you get a single digit 66 6 + 6 = 12 1 + 2 = 3 The digital root is 3.
