1) I THINK I started a seperate thread on meridian marks but can't find it, any thoughts? Would it have been deleted/merged for some reason?

 

2) If anyone knows how to do this - I need the coordinates (in same format for use in GPS) exactly one mile north and one mile south of: N 38° 21.229 W 081° 37.582

Coordinates for 1 mile north are 38° 22.159' & 81° 37.509'.

For 1 mile south they are 38° 20.352' & 81° 37.558'.

 

I used Delorme Topo 9 mapping program.

Thanks - I am now even more perplexed reagrding the marks I am looking for as the south coordinates are in the middle of the river when the mark should be on a hill.
