Which GPS would you recommend?

I have a GPS and it serves my needs right now, but next summer I'm going on a long bicyle trip (I'm talking 2+ months) and will be going many miles. My current GPS (Magellen explorist 210) only has enough memory to handle a detailed map section about the size of Ohio. I don't want to have to reload map sections every week. So I'm looking into getting another GPS. I don't want to spend much money though.

 

Is there a good Magellen GPS with either a large internal memory or expandable memory that you could recommend? It should be Magellen so it works with the map system I already have.

I have a 76CSx and I love it. They do make a handle bar mount for it but remember that it is quite big. It has expandable and removable memory in the form of a micor SD card.

The 76 is a Garmin product, the Magellan maps won't work.

 

Magellan Explorist 500 or 400 will do what you want. Get an 2gig SD card and load up all you can eat.

 

If you want to wait, perhaps the new Magellan Triton series although I have no idea if your current maps will work with that or not.
