"virtual tracking" geocoins

Hello all,

Just a question. I cache regularly and always use the rules CITO, SL , keep TB's moving etc. I even own a cache, thanks to all who visit.

What I would like to ask is do ya'll see anything wrong with me logging my world geocoin in and then out on the same visit to track my miles ? I only want to track miles on geocaches in areas that I visit and I would actually be visiting the cache and moving TB's etc.......thoughts?

Thanks.............. :D

Yes that is perfectly acceptable, in fact lots of folks do it.

whats Not acceptable is giving out your track ables number online and letting others log it who have not even seen it.

It's called dipping the coin in and out of caches for mileage and it's perfectly acceptable so long as you actually found the caches you dip YOUR coin in.

As Nero said it's the logging of coins/tbs without ever seeing them or even the cache that Groundspeak frowns on.
