+GEO*Trailblazer 1 Posted August 16, 2007 Share Posted August 16, 2007 Live Tracking and altitude/elevation profiles. WOW I finally got my Laptop/GPS and programs all working. GPSTrackmaker. I went to a benchmark of known elevation and did a profile. This was within approximately 0-20 feet in altitude and position. I ran it for about 15 minutes with this result. I can do all that neat stuff my mind has compiled for the time when I had the resources to do it. Watch out I am on the loose now. BD I love that NGS read,It is a great program. GOOGLE EARTH It was close to a WI-FI so I could also view it in 3D. The Live tracking takes $$ those cards where you can get signals almost anywhere. I have not checked that out thoroughly though. I think you can get them through your phone or ISP. TOPO! It also has Live Tracking but requires lots of discs or hard drive for each state as well as $$ of all 50 States. Too many toys to mention to interface with each other. I have it all by counties now,well not all of it. In many ways except for $$ the computer crash made me have to get a backup. I have been working on getting it all together the last 2 weeks. Watch out on the poker run I can now see all those A,K,Q,J pairs..... Anyway just some of my thoughts and recent activities.
