+Cornerstone4
Hi gang, We will be speding Sep 4-11th in Williamburg, and I was hoping for some feedback on caches we should hit. I searched the archives, and most of the info was 2 years old, so I started a new thread. We will do a quick stop in NYC, so I'm also interested in anything I shouldn't miss there. I'd like to grab one in Central Park if it works out. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+terri and billy
Can't say favorites but we did enjoy all of the ones in the historic distict. They were easy to find as we wondered around. Of course, we wonder down to Williamsburg as often as we can. Terri Quote Link to comment

Regarding Central Park, a lot of the caches there are virtuals (and most of the the caches in Manhattan in general are micros) but there are a couple of regular caches, such as this one: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...5e-b885f8ba2fbf If you're willing to trek up to northernmost Manhattan, there is a beautiful forest preserve called Inwood Hill Park which will have you believe you're not in the big city, it has 2 caches about 600 ft. apart from each other, one easy, one quite challenging: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...3e-0e57d5056186 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...16-e8fb2ed8cc49 You may also want to contact team East Village Family, they are legendary in the "big city" both for being FTF on almost all Manhattan caches and for probably placing the majority of the other caches there. Have fun! Quote Link to comment
