ossumguywill
All my (sort of) life I have dreamed of a rugged dedicated hiking gps with these features. If you haven't seen triton yet, go to megallangps.com Quote Link to comment
+GOT GPS?
Welcome back, seems like you have been gone along time. There have been some topics already on the new Triton Series GPS units, and the Trinton 2000 looks cool. Topics already:(these topics have fallen from the first page) Magellan Triton series Magellan Triton Handheld Series http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?showtopic=170469 The Triton series is getting new PC-based software called VantagePoint, should be alot better than Mapsend on the PC, also I hope they are getting professional help with writting the Firmware for the new series, since the previous firmwares were getting kinda limiting with only 2000 trackpoints, and 200 POI per file. Seems like other people may have trademarked the VantagePoint name, so I don't know how Magellan got it. - Google search list of the name VantagePoint> http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navc...;q=vantagePoint This is now the 4th topic on the Triton it seems.
