This list covers you from Dryden NY to Fabius, NY. It includes Morgan Hill State Forest, Baker Schoolhouse State Forest, Hoxie Gorge State Forest, Snyder Hill State Forest, and Kennedy State Forest. We live in-between Kennedy & Tuller Hill so we are out on these trails alot. Hope this helps.

For those of us not in the know, can someone explain what the "NCT System" is ?

I have one I placed this spring. Unfortunately, part of the trail near the cache is not maintained very well yet. There are a couple of culverts the trail crosses, one on either side of the cache, that washed out. There is a footpath around one, but they only mow a thin path once or twice a year.

Unfortunately, the trail is nasty overgrown with prickers, hence I disabled it till Oct when the trail is passable again. Hopefully the trail will get repaired next spring, so I dont have to disable it for the summer again.

For those of us not in the know, can someone explain what the "NCT System" is ?

The NCT(S) stands for North Country Trail System that starts in North Dakota and ends in New York and runs thru Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and PA.

There are some sections not completed, but are being worked or trail is under the planning stages.

puppyman, I think you got any of mine near NCT in pa. planning on hiding some new ones-will let you know if they end up close to NCT. rhelt's streamy, streamy I think is on NCT-it's a newer cache.
