+pghlooking Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 Its amazing how many people get upset when they don't win and cry foul and pretend it is someone else's fault or that they changed the rules. avroair does something nice by making a fun game to give a coin away and people nit pick it to death. Who would have thought you could put them in any order. Common sense tells you they need to be in order to fit what the sentence says, otherwise you are expecting him to guess your intentions. You left it to his interpertation rather than taking that out of it, so that goes down as a learning experience. Plus it is his game and his rules. If he decides to give it to someone who had 5 wrong answers that is his choice. It's a coin. Nothing more nothing less. You say free and people act like you owe them.

The first post to correctly identify in the correct order was #88. Not enought sleep I am afraid. Actually I think the first post to post in the correct order was GPX Navigators in post #68.....

I had offered my congratulations to Marks declared winner many posts ago... Other people brought up the fact that I was one of the people with all the right answers listed in my post...I didnt know they had to be in a particular order, I wrote the answers down as I figured them out. Whatever Mark decides..its a cointest...it was fun, a challenge, but nothing to get upset over for not winning... And thanks for the cointest!!!

Thanks to Tadpole and all the others who congratulated me on winning. It was very much fun thinking I had actually won. I had made the same mistake in a cointest I had a bit ago so I know how easy it is to miss the first correct answer. In any event thanks for the fun!

Have you ever managed to respond to someone you don't agree with without trying to make it a personal attack? Mindless drivel? Please. You just don't agree, but who didn't see that coming. What's to bo informed about? A person offers coin in a contest and people come in here complaining, just like you. Mystery rules? I didn't see anything mysterious about it at all. And trust me.
