In HTML (the language which is used send a web page to your computer) an ampersand symbol (&) is a special character. So it must be encoded as & amp; (without the space). Your browser then know to display this as an ampersand. But when you decrypt the hint, this is changed to &nzc;. Your browser doesn't recognize this as a special entity so it displays &nzc;.
