This is an automated message from Geocaching For GC144D8: Over ? (Archived) (Traditional Cache) Location: California, United States 27.2mi N (43.7km N) RV CREW archived Over ? (Archived) (Traditional Cache) at 7/23/2007 Log Date: 7/23/2007 Something seams to have broken. Link to comment

Keystone Posted July 24, 2007 Share Posted July 24, 2007 The contents of the "Archive" log on the cache page consist of one character, a period. I think your complaint should be addressed to the writer of the brief archive log, rather than as a website bug. It is always good to include a brief explanation of why a cache is being archived. I use the cache page link to go to the cache page to download the .gpx file to put into GSAK to "clean up" my database. If the link was missing from the email . . . that would be a bit of a problem. The links facilitate getting to the cache page to look at the Past Logs, determine whether I Found the cache or not, and see what the problems were. After I review that information, I use the .gpx file to clean up my database. Link to comment

I think it was just our local reviewer clearing out his backlog, so I was not overly alarmed by that. I look at it as fields that have been cleared for new planting. Link to comment
