techboyjeff
New to Geocahing, mentored by Gr8 Eyes who uses a PC. I exclusively use a Macintosh. I don't want to get into this and then find out that no one is willing to support the Macintosh. I am looking for help: Websites, mentors, etc. Please email me directly at schoolvirtual@yahoo.com Thanks for your help! Jeff aka techboyjeff Milwaukee, Wisconsin Quote Link to comment
+George1
This link should give you some help even if you are not going paperless. Paperless with a mac Quote Link to comment
+rtmlee
There are several programs you can use to manage/download waypoints from your Mac. I use MacCaching http://www.maccaching.com/ to connect my Magellan Color. I also use GeoNiche on my Palm TX. MacSimpleGPS is another good program for managing waypoints. Give them a try. +T F T C
I've created a website specifically for MUGs (Mac-using geocachers). Take a look (even if you don't have an eXplorist as I do). http://chimbisimo.googlepages.com Don't worry about being left out due to owning a Mac - you won't be left out at all. Quote Link to comment
+Crid
I use MacCaching http://www.maccaching.com/ to connect my Magellan Color. Thank you for posting that link. I've been using SimpleGPS until now, but MacCaching looks much more like what I want, with the ability to read the descriptions and stuff within the program itself. Quote Link to comment
