+Arndtwe Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 i've heard that both get good reception, but which of the two gets better, Garmin GPSmap60csx or Garmin GPSmap 60cx? or, do they get the same reception? Quote

The only difference is that one has an electronic compass and altimeter, and one doesn't, which has nothing to do with he unit's sensitivity. Quote

+imajeep Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 IMHO, the 60CSx has a slight edge due to the compass. I can get a good heading to the cache even when I am standing still. Quote

+StarBrand Posted July 21, 2007 Posted July 21, 2007 Exactly the same for reception - they are identical except for the altimeter and compass. Same GPP "guts" though. Quote
