+Happy Landins
I've just noticed that when I click on "My Friends" it doesn't show their "hidden items" total but only their "found items". Looks like a minor programming glitch. Quote Link to comment

Looks like a minor programming glitch. That is a known bug that was going to be fixed "shortly", two months ago. No rush though. Right now the friends list doesn't really do anything useful. I'm sure they will start adding features shortly. Quote Link to comment
+CrkrJim
Good to know. My sister in law joined while she was down on vacation. We decided to do the friends thing but all it seems to do is save actually opening the email program to send an email, still have to go to the email to receive. I was hoping it would leave a message on this site so you would see it when logging on. Quote Link to comment
Mushtang
Good to know. My sister in law joined while she was down on vacation. I was hoping it would leave a message on this site so you would see it when logging on. You can do that with the forums. If you send each other Private Messages (PMs) you'll get a notification at the top of your forum page that you have X New Messages (right above the Google ad). Right now it probably says 1 New Messages for you because I just sent you an example. You can also set it up so that you'll get a pop up window if you have any messages. Very useful if you don't normally get a lot of them and aren't looking at the top of the page regularly. You said she's new to caching right? Has she been in forums before? Does she have thick skin or is she easily offended? On the whole, these are some of the better behaved forums you'll find, but people still claim that they get mistreated in here.
