Unable to send to GPS

I have just purchased a Gramin GPS60. I loaded the software Waypoint Manager and the latest GPS Communicator and it was workiing fine. No when I try to send GPS waypoint from Geocaching.com I get the pop up window, Send to GPS with and error on the page which does not allow be to continue.

 

I have removed the programes, restarted the computor and reloaded the programmes again to no avail. The stage part is I loaded the same software onto a desk top computor and it works fine, however unable to get it to run from my notebook, which I use for Geocaching. This is very frustrating and my be a problem with the Groundspeak Web Site.

 

I can exchange information through Map Source and the Garmin Test page recognises my GPS and states that the GPS is connected with the latest driver etc.

 

Please, Please help me.

Sorry for your frustration, but if you are trying to use the "Send to GPSr" button on a cache page, I don't believe it is working right now. You can download the .loc file and use a program like EasyGPS or the Waypoint manager to get the waypoints into your GPSr.

The send to GPS pop up window open then error appearce on the bottom left croner 2 erro's

It is working ok for me. The feature was having problems a day or so ago but it is working now. Have you installed the plugin at this link?

I just use "easygps", it is free and really easy to use, it will let me rename the cache in my Legend, easier to keep track of that way. I tried GSAK which is highly rated, but I still prefer easy gps.

I use gsak in combination with Poiloader (see signature for the method I use).

Once set up, it works like a glance: 20 seconds and +2.000 caches are put on my gpsmap 60csx...
