+angevine
You can find explanations of all of these acronyms on the geocaching.com site (as well as in the glossary of my book, if you're so inclined). It's worthwhile knowing them and recognizing them (my husband's car has vanity plates that read FTFP, try explaining that to the police officer who pulled us over one night for a missing headlamp!); but I urge you not to succumb to acronym-fever. With everyone texting abbrievated words and using acronyms, we'll all be illiterate in a generation or two! Okay, so I'm kidding. Sort of. But it's really nice to be a cache owner and to read a log that tells a story, rather than one filled ith a jumble of letters that serve to prove one was there and nothing more. Be kind to your cache owners, tell them about findingthe cache, tell them what you saw, how you felt ... and leave the TNLN stuff to the mobile phones. -- Jeannette Quote Link to comment
tattooedmommie
I've read over the definitions and STILL sometimes sit and stare at my computer monitor while trying to process what's being said Quote Link to comment
