unfinding a cache

Is there any way to reverse the function of finding a cache on the 60csx? For instance, if I find a particular cache and then click find next closest, and accidentally this cache gets entered as found when it hasnt been found. Is there any way to "unfind" it in the GPS?

You should be able to select that waypoint (as if you are going to select GOTO) and then select the icon to edit/change it.

Yep. Been there, done that.

Yup, knowing where the darn thing went when you accidentally hit "Found it" is the key to being able to change the icon back to the closed Treasure Chest.

i.e., change it to the closed treasure chest from its current open treasure chest icon.

You can find it by searching for "Waypoints" or from the Geocaching screen, press Menu and change to show Found caches.

Yup, I've done it too...sometimes I just use it as an exuse to go for one more cache...."C'mon Honey, we HAVE to go search for it now since I've already marked it as found!"

You know, personally, I find it easier to just not use the dern option at all.

Or press "find" twice to pull up a list of all waypoints that you have looked at.
