Hello,

Within two weeks I am going to Canada for holiday, I saw some nice caches around the area I plan to visit.

The problem is that I am not able to send the waypointfiles to my garmin gps.. While doing the same for caches in Holland(my homecountry) there is no problem .

I hope someone can help me, probably it is a simple trick (at least ,that is what I hope :D

Just a guess. You are sending them to your unit then looking to see if they are there using the "search by nearest" option.

If they are more than a certain distance away they will not appear. You need to search by name.

Good thought - I should remember this as it really is a common problem.....

Yes indeed, I think that will be the issue...

Hi,

well, that is not the problemsolver, they just don not come into my gps.

Anne

How are you checking to see them - what method allows you to determine they did not get transffered? (Just need to understand what you are seeing)

Try another piece of software - like EasyGPS - it is free and does a nice job of moving waypoints over. Look at the resource page off of the home page for the site.

dear Starbrand

I found them :D:P

Your first clue about the search by name option was what I needed.

But at first I did not understand :D:D

I am very peased though, thank you very much
