ameinema
Hello, Within two weeks I am going to Canada for holiday, I saw some nice caches around the area I plan to visit. The problem is that I am not able to send the waypointfiles to my garmin gps.. While doing the same for caches in Holland(my homecountry) there is no problem . I hope someone can help me, probably it is a simple trick (at least ,that is what I hope Anne Meinema Edited July 9, 2007 by ameinema Quote Link to comment

+StarBrand
Have you tried other software like EasyGPS or GSAK? Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Just a guess. You are sending them to your unit then looking to see if they are there using the "search by nearest" option. If they are more than a certain distance away they will not appear. You need to search by name. Quote Link to comment
ameinema
Have you tried other software like EasyGPS or GSAK? No , I have not, and I am not familiar with these programs. I am a beginner , but again, I never had or have, at this moment, any problems with downloads off dutch waypoints. anne Quote Link to comment
+Lotho
You could just manually enter the coordinates. Quote Link to comment

Anne How are you checking to see them - what method allows you to determine they did not get transffered? (Just need to understand what you are seeing) Try another piece of software - like EasyGPS - it is free and does a nice job of moving waypoints over. Look at the resource page off of the home page for the site. Quote Link to comment
