Garmin 60maps

Hello All! I dropped my Garmin 60maps GPS and broke the front glass. works great but need to replace glass. If you have an old one in good shape I would buy from you OR, if you know where I can order one I would sure like to hear from you. I know I can probably get one from Company but sure would like to NOT have to wait 6-10 weeks Probably longer, to get it back, would rather do it myself.

From everything in these forums that I have read it seems that Garmin has great customer service, so why don't you email or call them and see if they will replace it. It can't hurt to ask and they have done great things in the past from what I have read.

Some resellers sell GPS dummies, just plastic cases with gaskets etc and no electronics. You just have to swap them out. Try lookin' for that.

 

EDIT: It would also be much more waterproof (real IPX7 versus IPX?)

I had a BAD scratch on my screen and found a guy in NZ that had replacement screens...had it within a week and took all of 10 minutes to replace.He charged me $20 NZ dollars and a few for postage...also had "dummies' for $40
