Hi

 

We are from Auckland, New Zealand and will be going to LA (Anahiem) for a week in Sept. Is there any geo caching shops in L.A?

 

Im rather keen to pick up some bits and pieces.

I am not aware of any geocaching shops in this area. Perhaps you might post this question on the site:

About 22 miles west of Anaheim is one of my favorite shops for containers, camo paint, great quality-low cost belts, vests, bags, and other "tactical gear": Major Surplus

If you are going to LA beaches, Hollywood, etc, stop here on the way.

The closest shop that has anything Geocaching related is Action Trophy up in La Habra. They have some cool containers and make a bunch of specialty stuff for local cachers. Anything in particular you are looking for? I've got some assorted Geocaching.com swag if your interested.

As an update to my previous post #2, Major Surplus has just got a supply of very good condition 30cal ammo cans. $2.95 is the in-store cost (cheaper than their web store cost)

While there, look at the big selection of camo spray paint. Their vests, bags, deployment bags are super quality heavy-duty nylon, at an incredible low price.
