+chizu
I've just noticed a thread on the GC website forum about this greasemonkey script that replaces the link to a picture on a log with a thumbnail, like we had for about 3 hours a month or so back! Quote Link to comment
+Mr'D
Great! Can't wait until I can install this on my home PC. Thanks for the heads up! Jon Quote Link to comment

+Teuchters
This is brilliant. But how about an enhancement (please)?? Images posted by the original cache setter do not appear using this script although "logged" images do. Is there a way of incorporating these cache setter images? This might include spoiler photos for instance..... Quote Link to comment

Since the recent gc.com changes there's now no thumbnail image available for a cache setter image. You can see this if you look at a cache page gallery where you'll see that all cache setter images are full size and have not been thumbnailed. If anyone can find a page on gc.com that shows a thumbnail image of a cache setter image then let me know because I'd like the script to show these too! Gary Quote Link to comment

It now includes the cache owner images as you requested all that time ago! In addition to working in Firefox it now also works in Opera. Full details of the changes and the download link can be found here. Here's an example of the changes the script makes: Normal cache owner image section: Cache owner image section with thumbnails: Normal log: Log with thumbnails: Gary Quote Link to comment

+Delta68
Great script! It's the first time I've seen this script. Pity the thumbnails aren't coded show as standard in the web pages, it might encourage more people to add photos to their logs... Mark Quote Link to comment

+martlakes
I've used this for quite a while and it's great, and seeing the cache page pics now is a useful enhancement. So thanks! Only a minor point, but is it possible to somehow see the comments about the pics (if any) as well as the titles? Sometimes the comments are fairly vital to understanding the pic. At present these are lost with the script working. Quote Link to comment

Sometimes the comments are fairly vital to understanding the pic. At present these are lost with the script working. I originally didn't add the descriptions because I thought it would look a bit messy. However now I've updated the script to show them I've found it doesn't actually look that bad! Many thanks to martlakes for the request and testing the changes. The new version (2.5) can be downloaded from here. Gary Quote Link to comment
