Lac Vert
Hi everyone, Just letting you know of a bizarre success story. Maple Bear was one of my most promising travel bugs and was doing really well, so much so that I kept setting different missions for him. Unfortunately he disappeared in May 2004 in England somewhere. But, I received an e-mail last night from a cacher wondering how she should log him since she's found him and wants to release him. Amazing! I'd love to know where he's been and why he's been released again, but some things are meant to be mysteries, I guess. For those that are curious, here's his website: http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=6047 Just wanted to share. Lac Vert Edited June 29, 2007 by Lac Vert Quote Link to comment
+GeoBlank
That rocks! I have a couple TBs that I imagine are sitting in the bottom of a toy box and one of these days when those kids learn to read and get curious about gc.com I will get an email or see a log by a brand new cacher. Keep the faith! Quote Link to comment
