gingerbreadmen
I know this has been covered before but I don't know if a definitive answer was ever achieved, and apart from which I can't now find the thread, but... When finding Earth Caches are Scotland, Wales & England now classed as separate countries or are they all still lumped together as one? I thought the latter but have been informed that this has now been sorted but I can't find any reference to this... Earthcache listings are still chucked together under UK, not separate countries. I have had no reply to my e-mails re this subject so can't even find out from TPTB, can anybody help? Ta gladly. Quote Link to comment
HazelS
They are separate countries!!! Quote Link to comment
Birdman-of-liskatraz
If you're asking in order to claim The Earthcache Pins... I can confirm that several of us have claimed the Bronze Pin using Counties instead of USA States... i.e by doing caches in two Counties. Quote Link to comment

Gushoneybun
Have alook at this link: Earthcache Masters Scheme Many thanks, I am entitled to a bronze now and with some earthcaches in a a few nearby counties I might just be greedy and go straight for silver Quote Link to comment
Deceangi
The UK counties are treated exactly the same as the US states so if you've found a Earth cache in 2 adjoining counties you can claim a Bronze Earth cache pin. you don't need to have found earthcaches in England and Wales or Scotland [i've had this confirmed by geoaware] Quote Link to comment
The Flying Boots
Hadn't heard of this before. Have now applied for a Bronze Earthcache pin . Quote Link to comment

Dorsetgal & GeoDog
I raised this in a previous thread here. My pin was applied for on December 19th and arrived January 5th having been posted in Colorado on 28th December Quote Link to comment
scottpa100
Ah ha! 90 caches and 15-ish (can't check on the website to confirm) of the Earthcaches are within 30-odd miles of where I live. What a thing to be living in such a geologically exciting part of the UK! Quote Link to comment
maxkim
Do they only count caches since their relaunch or can you count the old ones? Quote Link to comment
Dorsetgal & GeoDog
Do they only count caches since their relaunch or can you count the old ones? I believe they all count, so long as you have logged them!! I seem to recall when I applied you have to state which ones you have done. Quote Link to comment
Simply Paul
I found an EarthCache on Skye last month, so along with my Welsh one and English one, I've applied for a pin. Quote Link to comment
