+Crid
I'm in the UK and about to go on holiday to Canada. I'm considering buying a Garmin 60CX or 60CSX while I'm there because the prices seem to be much better than UK prices. From what I've found on the net so far, if I buy one in Canada it will have the American basemap rather than the European or Atlantic basemap. So I have a couple of questions: - If I use it in England, will the basemap show anything? - If I buy the GB topo maps, can I use them on a Canadian-bought Garmin? Would there be any difference to loading them on a UK-bought Garmin? Quote Link to comment

The Basemap in the Americas version will not show anything in the UK other than a land mass. Other than that, there are no differences that I am aware of. Quote Link to comment
