Garden Route

Hi

We're traveling along the Garden Route from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth and back shortly.

I'd like to have about 10 straight-forward caches to fine - preferably within site of the sea or the N2.

We're also walking up Table Mountain from the town - advice and caches please!

Happy to move travel bugs back to the UK.

There are plenty more, including some really fantastic walks along the beaches, especially at Keurbooms Strand and Sedgefield. Also some super ones along the alternate routes in the area.

I can recommend Storms Death Walk and Kaart van Afrika personally.

 

If you need a map of the area for your trip, visit Cape Town map. I also have a topographic mapset made of the George/Knysna/Oudtshoun area that isn't mentioned on the site that I made for a paraglider a few months ago.

 

There are some really great spots along that route. Enjoy exploring it all.

Hi, I should read the forums more often. I live in George.

If you enjoy a walk in the mountains you shouldn't miss Old Canal View. And if you are traveling with children Beasts of Burden is fun and quick.
