+The Blorenges Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 (edited) In Akersberga for a few days from the UK. Done a couple of caches including GC4BBO which is in a great location on the coast. On my walk back I saw what I'm pretty certain was an Osprey (pandion haliaetus) over the water. It certainly wasn't a buzzard (buteo buteo). I didn't have binoculars with me so couldn't easily identify it. So, are there any birdwatching Swedish geocachers who can tell if it was likely to be an osprey or not? Many thanks Chris Edited June 12, 2007 by The Blorenges Quote
+Jyrki&Sari Posted June 12, 2007 Posted June 12, 2007 The osprey is the symbol bird of Södermanland county (län) in Sweden, so it is very likely you have seen one. Quote
