seattlegeekgrrrlz
Hi- My 10 year old nephew is coming to visit around the 4th of July! He has been caching a few times with his dad, so isn't a total novice, but is still definitely more interested in regular size caches than micros. I took a look at the pinned bookmarks and didn't really see what I was looking for...so here goes. Does anyone have any recommendations for good kid-friendly caches in the Seattle area? Anything your kids found particularly enjoyable? Especially great would be combining a cache (or caches) with a day hike from Seattle. I am thinking Wallace Falls might be good. Any other suggestions? Is that too strenuous of a hike for a 10-year old who has a pretty good fitness level? Thanks! Edited June 6, 2007 by seattlegeekgrrrlz Quote Link to comment
hydnsek
How about A Fractured Fairy Tale? I don't have children, but that's a kid-oriented one that came to mind. Quote Link to comment
WRASTRO
I think that is a good suggestion, and there are 4 or 5 other caches in the park as well. Quote Link to comment
seattlegeekgrrrlz
Ohh- that looks like fun! Plus another park I have somehow managed to overlook. This group always has great suggestions. Thanks! Any other ideas from anyone? Edited June 6, 2007 by seattlegeekgrrrlz Quote Link to comment
nickzeke
You could try golden gardens. There is some trails there and a beach. The park is near the 98117 zip code. Quote Link to comment
webscouter.
The Cache across America- Washington would be a good cache. Especially if you take the time to look at the underside of rocks near the water. When I was there I saw red and blue starfish and lots of interesting barnacles. Quote Link to comment
