cowee
I have same problem, but why it worx in IE and doesn't work in Firefox? Somebody can help me? Quote Link to comment
+Maingray
My "send to GPS" works in FF and IE. The test page will fail provided after installation fails. If you are bothered, download the developer's pack, the test page provided there works fine. Quote Link to comment
+Klatch
Last night I loaded three caches into my GPS using Communicator and Firefox. It seemed a little more difficult than normal to find the first cache this morning, so I checked the coordinates in the GPS as opposed to the ones in my Palm TX. In each of these three caches there was an error of 0.002 to 0.003 minutes in either the lattitude, the longitude, or both. I realize this is a small difference, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed this, and if it may have been something I did incorrectly. (I confirmed the differences on the web site after returning home) Quote Link to comment
+alanfreed
It took me some Googling to find the right plug-in page, but once I downloaded it, I'm having good luck with it in Firefox. I've always wished for a little gizmo like that -- very convenient! Quote Link to comment

+alanfreed
I believe this is where I downloaded it directly (the link in the pop-up window wasn't helping me): http://www8.garmin.com/support/agree.jsp?id=3607 It took me some Googling to find the right plug-in page, but once I downloaded it, I'm having good luck with it in Firefox. +Red90
I can't get it to work either. Windows XP Pro with neither Firefox or IE. Quote Link to comment
+Klatch
I would like to hear from someone who has gotten this to work as to whether the coordinates are exactly the same as the coordinates on the cache page. I have tried a half-dozen downloads to my 76CS and none are the same as on the page. (see my earlier post). It works fine for me, but the small introduced error is aggravating when caching. Edit: NEVER MIND. I just read in the Geocaching.com Web Site forum that others have noticed the same thing. Edited May 31, 2007 by Klatch Quote Link to comment
+Red90
Yep, same here. Got it to work based on the other thread, but the coordinates are a little different than the ones on the page. Quote Link to comment
lee42048
I have an older Garmin unit that connects with a serial cable. The test page worked. The coordinate download works with I.E. but not FireFox. +1morbud
Does anyone know if there is an option to have the Cache Name appear in the GPSr and not the Geocaching Number (GCxxxx)? Quote Link to comment
