Caches displayed in MS Streets & Trips 2007

I have tried to use MS Streets and Trips 2007 to display cache information. I have a couple of questions related to this.

1. Is there anyway to download waypoints / cache coords to Streets and Trips 2007?

 

2. I have tried to manually enter in coords to Streets and Trips 2007 but I can't seem to get the coordinate format to match in S & T.

 

If I could figure out these issues I could save a ton of time.

If you download GPS Babel: http://www.gpsbabel.org/download.html , you can convert a gpx file into a S&T pushpin file. Then you import data in S&T, select the file you converted, and you'll have it. Happy hunting!!!

This page hopes to clarify importing waypoints (optionally with URL data) into Microsoft Streets & Trips. The process is the same from the 2003 through 2007 versions.

Purchase GSAK to manage waypoint downloaded from the forms or your GPS.

Then Upload them to Streets & Trips

Unless they've changed since the '05 version, coordinates must be entered in either minutes and seconds or decimal formats.

Using GSAK's output feature works like a charm, as someone had previously mentioned. I S&T '07 all the time for planning caching outings. When you output to S&T with GSAK, you can ALT-CLICK on the caches and it'll automatically bring up the cache page, too!

Not exactly on topic but, I have been using Delorme Topo 6 for several months now and one of the features I like is that I can import a .gpx from my pocket queries DIRECTLY into the map without any conversions. You still need GSAK if you want the cache pages stored as local HTML pages.

 

You can also create a route, export it to .gpx format and then upload it to GC.com for Caches Along A Route directly from Topo 6 without any conversions.

 

It appears that Delorme is serious about supporting Geocaching.
