If you are patient you will likely eventually find a Garmin yellow etrex for $50+ shipping, or a Legend for $75 + shipping. These tips are about buying used maps, but the general idea holds for used GPSr as well. Quote Link to comment

Still has the protective plastic on the screen, no scratches, dings, etc. Looks perfect. Comes with the manuals and other misc. paperwork. New batteries also. Bought NEW on May 9, 2006 for $149.
