cpacisa Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Can a TB that's already been released into the wild and has a history be transferred to a different user so it shows them as the owner and is in their inventory on their profile page? Specifically, I've opened a new account and would like all my profile info to be transferred, but I'll take baby steps if I must. Quote

+Mach2003 Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 You can adopt 'your' bugs, go here: http://www.geocaching.com/adopt/ Quote
+BlueDeuce Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 On that adoption page enter in the reference number not the tracking number. You'll see on each bug page something like 'Use TBN6MN to reference this item'. Quote
+Eartha Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Yes, do what they said, but a word about the bug's history. If any logs get deleted, the people who moved the bug lose their logs, and that doesn't make people happy. You should leave the history of the bug intact. Quote

O-Mega How did you find out about this adoption link? I couldn't find any reference to it in the FAQ or Groundspeak support site. It's not obvious on geocaching.com's main page and there's no sitemap available. Expiring minds need to know! Quote
