Xlobsterman
Does anyone know of any places to find a generic handlebar mount for my old Magellan Sportrack unit? Yes I do............. I just ordered a RamMount for my Garmin 276c from http://www.gpscentral.ca Here is a link to the OE Magellan handle bar mount: http://www.gpscentral.ca/accessories/magellan/strak_bike.htm BUT, for the price of the OE mount, I would go with a RamMount: http://www.gpscentral.ca/accessories/ram-sportrak.htm OOOOPS, I should have looked at where you were!!! Here is a dealer in the US; http://www.gpscity.com/item-ram-mount-ram-.../ramb149ma3.htm Edited May 17, 2007 by Xlobsterman Quote Link to comment

CraZySteve
Just another happy motorcyclist with a RAM mounting system. I second, third, fifth - Whatever the RAM Mount - Excellent Setup! I have it for my ATV and it ROCKS! Though with the DC power cord, I had to rig it up so the cord was secured near the unit, as it kept falling out and my tracks got all screwy! I just found the setting in my GPS tonight that allows the GPS to remain "ON" if external power is lost... Obviously it will only remain ON if you have batteries in it! The Ram mount is not cheap - mine was $49 Shipped but Well worth it in my mind... Quote Link to comment
