+gageplate Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 My family is heading to naramata this summer for a week. We are coming from washington so i am wondering if anybody could suggest some places in the area to go caching. we are staying at sandy beach so i would like to try to keep it close to that area. Thanks for all the help. Brad Quote
+chris-mouse Posted May 13, 2007 Posted May 13, 2007 I'm nowhere near B.C., but I did a bit of searching and found GCNJPZ It appears to be the closest cache to Narameta. From what I can see, there isn't much within walking distance of the beach there, but Penticton isn't far by car, and has quite the number of caches. Quote
+Landsharkz Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 I believe there is a bike/walking path from Naramata to Penticton that has caches. Quote
+nine_ca & Ladyracer Posted May 14, 2007 Posted May 14, 2007 Lots of caches about Naramata and Penticton. A few in the bush above or beyond Naramata, accesable by car. "Tiny Tunnel " a favorite. Back towards Penticton, some with nice walks, "Tressel Cache" and "In loving memory of our Brother" also lots of micros and many others.some of them. If you want details on accesability or whatever contact me. Quote

Brad A friend of mine retired in Summerland (across the lake) but I'm sure he'll be pleased to hear from another cacher... drop him a line, his name is Dave and he goes by (wait for it) summerland Quote
Curious George Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 You'll find GC92E4 a little bit south, great view from there Quote
