Lactodorum Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 (edited) No, not that sort of strip you'll be pleased to know As the number of cache submissions has increased to around 1000 per month, Deceangi, Eckington and I have been discussing how best we can split the load between us. We have also been aware that from time to time we might "step on each other's toes" by reviewing the same cache. So we've come up with a scheme whereby we split the country up into 3 "strips", each of us taking prime responsibility for one strip. These are based on the Latitude of the cache as follows: Eckington - all caches south of a line at N 51° 40.000 plus the Isle of Man Deceangi - all caches North of N 53° 00.000 Lactodorum - all caches between those two i.e. N 51° 40.000 - N 53° 00.000 plus the Channel Isles The areas covered are very different of course but it will mean we get to review roughly the same number of caches. We've been operating in this way for a couple of weeks now and it seems to be working (hopefully!). From time to time we will cover each other's territory and we will continue to work closely together to try to provide a consistent approach across the whole country. If anyone has a question about a particular cache then feel free to continue to ask any of us as you do now. Edited May 12, 2007 by Lactodorum Quote
+harrogate hunters Posted May 12, 2007 Posted May 12, 2007 Thanks guys.... !!! As I am at N54.... After spending the last three years slipping Lactodorum and Eckington £10 notes to publish my caches, this all now seems to be a waste of time.. !!! So, Deceangi, you better let me have your postal address for the tradition to continue !!! Sorry you other two guys.... obviously you get better backhanders from the other cachers down south !!! I will not be offended !!! Quote
