+SunshineGang
LOL! If it where to scale I would bet that would be a 750mm film canister..... Yes it is a barrel. I mean before it was transformed into a film canister Quote Link to comment
Double Agents
I'd been thinking of trying to make one out of like 4" or 6" PVC, but that is so much better. "It's just another film can micro, wonder why it has so many DNFs??? What does the hint mean: think big" Quote Link to comment

It is a cool idea to make one out of PVC, it would be much easier to hide. any idea what you could make the lid out of? Quote Link to comment

Does PVC come in sizes that would allow you to use the lid from a butter-tub, sour cream container, etc., or some other snap on lid? Paint it silver and voila! Great idea! Quote Link to comment
+Tsmola
they should get all the neighbors involved in this, few doors down you've got a huge matchstick container, end of the street a giant decon, when you first turn down the street the world's biggest Lock N Lock lol I may take a detour when I head up North weekend after next to get these two. I've been meaning to come up and hit Big Boy for some time now. Quote Link to comment
+markz68
I will be up in Michigan visiting friends nearby these two caches this weekend and have them on my todo list! Quote Link to comment

+Huntcliff
There is a cache in NC where the container is huge water jug hidden in the woods. It is filled with over 100 film cannisters.Only one of the film cannisters has the log book in it. You have to keep opening them till you find the right one. Quote Link to comment
+Miragee
Depending on when that one was placed, it might have been copied from this cache that is part of the famous Sandy Creek Cowboy caches. Quote Link to comment
+Huntcliff
Could be - it was placed in September 2005 (GCQFJ4) which is after the cowboy one mentioned above. Edited July 13, 2007 by Huntcliff Quote Link to comment

It's possible that two or more people could have the same idea. It took us 35 film cannisters until we found the right one. That one was cruel..
