Well, I sent in an email for BOTH missions, then I read the whole thread. So I may be too late for the Summer Solstice, so if I am, I may just pick a name from my own list to send something out, because I really like this holiday!

Okay, I hate to be the dumb person in the group, but I have never participated in one of these and I have a few questions: :lol:

 

If I am participating in the July 4-Independence Day Mission do I send out the coins now or do I wait until it is the week before? It seems that many people have already completed their missions.

 

What if I don't have the particular coins that my person wants? :lol:

 

I do not have a list of coins that I want and I saw where LadyBee4T said there was a free place to list your coins, so I went there, but I can't really tell how you list them. It looked like it was for activated coins. Is there anyone out there who can give me step by step directions? :(

 

As of now, I would like any personal coins, trackable or non trackable, or the skulldruggery coin :laughing:

 

 

Remember that NO question is dumb!!

 

I don't think that anyone has actually completed their mission. Maybe what you are seeing is that #3 says Mission Complete. Here when you send it out you go back and put yes or the date you sent it out or something on that order.

 

I would like my person to receive them close to the holiday we are celebrating but that is everyone's personal preference. Some will send it as soon as they get the coins in hand and some later so its up to you.

 

Part of the fun for me is the hunt for something they would want and making the trades to get it so if you can find someone to trade with that works well. (especially if you say its for your mission and you ask someone participating :rolleyes: ) Your person may not have everything on their seeking list so see if there is a trend like personal coins or states etc. If you have something that might be a good trader for them that works well too. Its the idea behind it that is important.

 

Any coins you want to list can be put on the UTAG site as you are the one that types them in.

Go to the site and register on the main menu on the lower right it says register as a coin owner I believe.

 

Free Coin Lists

 

Then login and go to the above link. Your name should be listed on the trading list.

Click on your name and it will bring up a screen with 3 columns

At the top it says edit your own list and there you go! Now you have to type the coins in each column which is the fun part LOL

MADE MY LIST HOW DO I PUT IT SO YOU CAN SEE IT ON THE BOTTOM OF Y POST?

 

Let's see if I can do this one correctly

 

For those of you who would like to Help your Secret Cacher with their Missions,

Follow these Instructions to place your Trade List in your Siggy Line:

 

1. Go to the site where you have your coins listed whether a free site, cointracking or geocoincollection and visit your own Trade list

2. At the top of the page, copy the URL and insert it below where it says put in the url of your trading list

3. Do the same thing with your seeking list

4. When you have done that, copy the information, visit your Profile and Paste it in your Signature area.

 

5. Then after you have everything saved as you want it go to the left side of the page and click on the forum link to get into the forums. I didn't do that simple step so nothing happened when I first tried to do it!! And when you post make sure you have the box checked to enable signature

Holy Toledo!! A Package already showed up yesterday with an awesomely cool design on the front that had been mostly obliterated by stickers from the post office... darn it!! I will work on getting the stickers off so that I can take a picture of it...

 

Anyhoo, in the package:

 

Two benchmark club coins !!! I love love love benchmarks!

 

One very very neato signature item from Geo*Trailblazer 1

and

a key chain that has a bejeweled and astonished looking fairy attached to it

and (I forgot this one and edited to add)

a nifty little or micro cache container... too cool!

 

I'm thinking of asking for signature items and cool stuff only for these trades cuz its truly my favorite part. I love the coins too and I will gladly send them out as my end of the trade, but I so enjoy the other stuff people decide to send. That's the really personal part.

GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!! How frustrating! I just spent a couple of hours listing my coins on utag and for some reason they are not there! LadyBee4t was kind enough to coach me along the way and I thought this was it, but I guess not. I hope to have enough time to figure it out again, but this time I will save my information! I did get to the point of listing my coins, though! :laughing::anicute:

 

I am sure I will figure it out before the Independence Day Due Date, but if I don't I would be happy to accept anyone's personal coin that I haven't bought.

 

I will keep trying and will let you know if/when I get at least a partial of my list available. BTW, I did get a couple of skullduggery coins.

I know it’s early but my daughter graduates from college the first weekend in June and I have shoulder replacement surgery the following week so better safe than sorry.
