Gadget_Cacher
gsak does exactly what yuor asking about http://www.gsak.net/ its a nice robust program, but you will need a geocaching.com premium membership to take full advantage of its features. Quote Link to comment
Jhwk
What type of GPSr do you use? Quote Link to comment
ergomaniac
I use GSAK but I've been looking at Geobuddy software as well. It looks like a nicely integrated package but seems to be specifically designed to use the USGS mapping which is a bit of a draw-back for those of us in Canada... For USA users it sounds really good. http://www.geobuddy.com/ If any U.S. cachers are using Geobuddy, maybe they can pass on some comments. Quote Link to comment
grecni
I've tried both gsak and geobuddy. I like the interface of gsak better, including some of the sorting options. But I ended up standardizing on geobuddy. Geobuddy will provide a map display as well as a list display. This feature allows me to pick a cache and see what's visually be able to determine what caches are nearby. This allows me to plan a geocaching outing. Both are free to try, so try both of them out and see which you are move comfortable with. Quote Link to comment

ClydeE
. This feature allows me to pick a cache and see what's visually be able to determine what caches are nearby. There is a nice macro in the GSAK library that will do this for you as well. You can download from here Quote Link to comment
