+markz68
I have 19 DNF's and 94 finds. Sometimes my DNF logs can be far more amusing than some of my found it logs. I do wish you could look at someone's DNF's as well as finds in their account. I'm not ashamed of mine, in fact I like them. For me it's not really about numbers or anything, just about the experience and DNF's are an integral part of my geocaching experience. As far as statistics, the 19 DNF's and 94 finds add up to 113 attempts. That gives me a find percentage of 83.19%. Here are a couple recent DNF logs of mine that I think are pretty amusing: First one Second one If they add their DNF's to a public bookmark list, you can see them. Mine are visible in my profile. R & B Cache
The public bookmark list is cool, I have all my dnf's in public view, if I do find one that I dnf'ed on, I'll remove it from the list. Not ashamed of my dnf's, maybe it will start a new trend. Finding is not just about the numbers to me, the places you get to see is what it is all about. Quote Link to comment

Also, if you are on a cache's page and that cache is on someone's DNF bookmark list, it will tell you that on the right side of the screen. Quote Link to comment
+edscott
122 DNF's logged.. probably a good 50 more that I didn't bother to log. If it is a halfhearted try at the end of a day, or my photo just isn't good enough to give it a reasonable go I often wait until another foiled attempt before declaring a DNF. Of the 120 or so caches (a couple multiple DNF logs on a single cache here and there) I eventually found 42 of them. So reported DNF rate is 8.7%, but the real number would be more like 12%. I eventually find virtually all the local ones, but those road trip blunders are on my list forever. Quote Link to comment
+ClayC
32 logged DNFs and Im pretty sure that is 99.9% of them. That puts me at 16% of my total finds. Quote Link to comment
+egami
I have one DNF logged, but that is not my only DNF. I just haven't updated them yet...in fairness, I have 4 finds I still need to log though (and I will log the DNF's). I do not take DNF's personally like some seem to. +BBosman
21 DNF's (of which about 10 have been found later when they were replaced/I searched beter) to 392 founds (including those 10) That's just over 5%. Not a bad score considering I log all my DNF's. Quote Link to comment
n0wae
So far I have 124 recorded DNFs that I keep track of in GSAK and in a public bookmark on my profile page out of 2256 finds. I'm sure my actual DNF count is higher because I'm better at logging them now then when I first started caching. (You learn a lot from reading the forums!) Quote Link to comment
